Bro. Siga Animation Centre (BSAC) is an NGO in Chennai, working towards the empowerment of slum dwellers and the rural poor, especially women & children, in Vyasarpadi, an area in North Chennai.

Bro. Siga Animation Centre (BSAC) is a pioneering community-based organization dedicated to empowering marginalized communities, with a special focus on children and youth in Vyasarpadi, Chennai. Our mission is to break the cycle of poverty by expanding access to quality education, vocational training, and holistic community development initiatives. Through our programs, we address critical social issues including child rights, gender equality, health, and education, enabling individuals and families to build stronger, more resilient futures. World Book Day at Adi-Dravidar Welfare Primary School

In a captivating celebration of literacy, Adi-Dravidar Welfare Primary School, brought the magic of books to a life on World Book Day. With 49 enthusiastic participants, the event sensitized an incredible 147 children to the wonders of literature. The day unfolded with an array of engaging activities, including story-reading competitions, mesmerizing storytelling sessions, captivating role plays, and enchanting puppetry. Students’ expressive voices breathed life into tales, while role plays fostered empathy and understanding. Handcrafted puppets danced, captivating the audience and showcasing the power of imagination.

QUALITY EDUCATION

BSAC has established Supplementary Education Centres as after-school learning spaces that provide academic support to underprivileged children, particularly those from slum and rural communities. These centres focus on strengthening foundational learning and improving overall educational outcomes, ensuring that every child develops essential competencies in language, mathematics, and science. Complementary initiatives such as Reading Circles and the Reading Class Programme foster literacy, curiosity, and a lifelong love for learning, positively impacting thousands of children each year.
